WHO IS BRADLEY MANNING
Bradley
Manning is a US soldier and intelligence analyst. He has been held in
solitary confinement for ten months at the Marine Corps
Brig, Virginia, for allegedly leaking classified documents to the whistleblower
organization WikiLeaks. Among those documents also the
Collateral
Murder video, that shows an Apache helicopter in Iraq engaging
a group of civilians, killing 12. On April the 20th Bradley Manning, following
international pressure, has been moved to Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. His
conditions of detention have dramatically improved.
Bradley Manning faces life imprisonement.
Italian Friends of Bradley Manning was lunched on Twitter in March 2011, its main aim being to spread and sensitize the Italian public on the detention of Bradley Manning.
